The Windows Installer Service Could Not Be Accessed-RESOLVED!

Once in a while, a windows user is bound to come across this error: The Windows Installer Service Could Not Be Accessed.

Well, its very simple, It means the Windows installer Service has not been started, and is not set to start automatically.

So:

1. Right click on My Computer, Go to Manage.

2: Select Services

3: Find Windows Installer Service.

4. Double Click on it, and you will find its not started.

             You need to start it and set it to start automatically, to avoid this error in future.

 

And thats it! This should get you back to installing your apps :)
